Diego el Cigala is celebrating the global release of his music documentary

Spanish Flamenco artist Diego el Cigala will be live in concert at The Fillmore Miami Beach on Friday, November 9th

Celebrating the global release of his music documentary called Indestructible: The Soul of Salsa

The Spanish flamenco artist Diego el Cigala, known for blending European and Afro-Cuban traditions, will return to Miami on Friday, November 9th, for a special live concert at The Fillmore Miami Beach (1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL. 33139). El Cigala will perform a curated selection of his most popular songs from his album Lágrimas Negrasalong with tracks from his Indestructiblealbum to celebrate the release of the new documentary called “Indestructible: The Soul of Salsa.” The Orchard and Sony Music Latin will be releasing the documentary on a global scale on Tuesday, November 6th, via digital and on demand platforms.

Indestructible: The Soul of Salsa, a 90-minute music documentary directed by David Pareja, developed organically as a way to document the recording process and the significance behind

El Cigala’s Indestructiblealbum. This album was nominated for a 2018 Grammy Award in the category of Best Tropical Latin Album. The music documentary takes audiences on a visual journey through the history of Salsa from its inception until the very moment when El Cigala gives it his own flare. In the film, Diego drives his strong personality as a musician to the open roads that lead from Colombia to New York via Cuba (Havana), Puerto Rico (San Juan), The Dominican Republic and Miami.Since Miami is featured in the documentary, it’s the perfect city to celebrate its release and share the story behind the making of the film with his local fans.

The Miami concert is part the 2018 Indestructibletour. Throughout this year, El Cigala has performed for audiences in the United States, Central America, Latin America, Canada and Europe. After his performance in Miami, El Cigala andhis eight-piece bandwill move on to countries like Colombia and Spain. Indestructible is El Cigala’s most ambitious and most personal project yet, a dream shared by El Cigala and his late wife, Amparo, who passed away in August of 2015. “We both liked salsa a lot,” he says, softly. “But the salsa that is no longer played, 70s salsa, the Fania sound, salsadura (hard salsa).”

Inspiring new steps for a rhythm that has always been synonymous with life, happiness, hopes and dreaming, the film is an homage to the FANIA heritage of Music. Throughout the film,

El Cigala performs with an all-star cast includingsinger Oscar D’Leon, pianists Gonzalo Rubalcabaand Larry Harlow, trumpeter Luis “Perico” Ortiz, and many of the original Fania studio musicians. Every performance becomes a nostalgic visit to the past while creatively renewing the soul of the genre’s future.

“Nude” is not a one-shade-fits-all color. Christian Louboutin knows this. That’s why he’s been offering select shoe styles, like his Solasofia ballet flats, in a range of “nude” shades for a while now. But for Spring 2019, the designer is taking the idea of inclusive nudes to a whole new level with a capsule collection of surreal “nude” bags and sneakers in seven different skin-matching shades.

The sneakers are designed to look like bare feet bedecked in bling. So many toe rings!

It’s a cat lover’s dream come true! For Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2019 collection, Grace Coddington and Nicolas Ghesquière collaborated on a capsule depicting Grace’s Persian cats, Pumpkin and Blanket, as well as Nicolas’ dog, Leon, drawn by Coddington herself. Illustrated leaping across orange monograms — reflecting Coddington’s flame colored hair — or on graphic monochrome, the collection presents a new chapter for Vuitton: the Catogram.

The collection is full of catified classic Louis Vuitton monogram bags like the Neverfull and the Speedy.

London Fashion Week – Burberry Spring/Summer 2019

A new broom at Burberry, a radical rebranding of Britain’s most important luxury label and altogether a first rate debut collection by Riccardo Tisci.

Tisci ranged about the British class system in this show, opening with ladylike chiffon dresses and jackets worthy of a Mayfair Grande Dame and packing his catwalk with punk rock chicks, culled from his collaboration with Vivienne Westwood – to add a dash of street cred.

This season, the collection advocates respect for nature, connecting the return of the heart, longing for a casual but refined quality of life. The clothing consists of classical patterns, pictographic characters “牖 (you),” quilting processes, functional fabrics (including water and wind-proof) and elements such as ropes, belts and buckles. Black, white and gray are used as the primary colors, with embellishments of bright yellow, rose, magenta and silver incorporated to embody the intersection where modern meets traditional – thereby creating BOSIDENG’s aesthetic movement.

Founded in 1976, BOSIDENG focuses on the development, design and production of down jackets. Since its conception, the BOSIDENG design team has devoted themselves to driving the evolution of the down jacket into high performance outerwear. For the past 42 years, BOSIDENG has been trail blazing the outwear category, specializing in downs, fabrics, craftsmanship and layouts. The quality and warmth of the down jacket has garnered attention globally; In 1999, BOSIDENG became the first Chinese clothing brand to enter the Switzerland market, which was the brands first international market. Today, their products are sold in more than 72 countries, including the United States, France, Italy and more. Every BOSIDENG down jacket undergoes 150 procedures and is tested in extreme environments by at least 62 technologists.

New York Fashion Week – CHIARA BONI Spring/Summer 2019

Bold colors and rhythmic surface patterns are a priority. Feminine elegance is a necessity. For the Spring/Summer 2019 season, Chiara Boni La Petite Robe gets inspired by the vibrant and suggestive Tahitian painting style of Paul Gauguin.

Vivid, warm tones of orange, yellow, amber, red and black cherry enhance the joyful, happy mood of the collection. It’s a spicy and energetic summer, spent under the tropical sun or immersed in the warm Mediterranean Sea breeze, filling the air with the scent of bergamot, lemon and climbing jasmine.

Prints take center stage in the lineup, reflecting the brand’s signature polished sophistication. Featuring a more naïf look or a graphic appeal, flamboyant patterns are matched with ultra feminine silhouettes for a charming explosion of positive joie de vivre.
