Dolce & Gabbana’s Immersive Exhibition Arrives in Miami

After successful and extended presentations in Milan, Paris, and Rome, From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce & Gabbana exhibition arrives in the United States for the first time at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami.

The exhibition transforms fashion into a fully immersive cultural experience.

Curated by Florence Müller, with scenography by Agence Galuchat and produced by IMG, the exhibition spans a sequence of meticulously designed rooms, each dedicated to a key theme in Dolce & Gabbana’s creative universe. More than 300 works including Alta Moda garments, accessories, and sculptural silhouettes, illustrate how the designers translate emotion, memory, and Italian heritage into wearable art.

Visitors will move through spaces inspired by Italian religious iconography, classical architecture, regional folklore, opera and ballet, and the exuberance of la dolce vita. Intricate hand embroidery, baroque embellishments, lacework, gold filigree, and artisanal techniques reveal the craftsmanship behind the brand’s most iconic creations. The exhibition emphasizes the human hand as a central force in luxury, highlighting the ateliers and artisans who bring each piece to life.

The Miami presentation has been newly reimagined in dialogue with ICA Miami’s expanded galleries, allowing for a more intimate and architectural experience. Fashion is placed alongside contemporary art, with works by artists including Quayola, Alberto Maria Colombo, Obvious, Vittorio Bonapace, and Felice Limosani, creating a visual conversation between couture, technology, and modern artistic expression.

Rather than following a traditional retrospective format, From the Heart to the Hands invites visitors to experience Dolce & Gabbana’s world emotionally and sensorially, through movement, sound, scale, and detail revealing fashion as a living form of cultural storytelling.
