When ambitious women gather without competition, magic happens.

Jennifer Balcos, owner of The Jennifer Balcos Art Gallery, brought that vision to life on Palm Beach Island with the sold out second edition of the "Powerful Women in South Florida" series. Set against the striking works of French artist Aude Herlédan, the evening welcomed an intimate circle of Palm Beach and South Florida entrepreneurs for a networking experience that felt anything but ordinary.

Designers, restaurateurs, artists, and tech founders connected across industries and generations, united by ambition and authenticity. Among the featured vendors, Bonnie Roseman showcased her signature Silicone Fashions, while Lady A delighted guests with handmade chocolates and Palm Beach Tea offered organic blends for the health-conscious crowd.

The event drew notable names, including Luisa Fernanda Monteverde of Jewelmer Palm Beach, Montreal-based jewelry designer Avi Marcovitch, and Diana Davis, founder of MoviesMakingADifference, a nonprofit producing socially conscious films and supporting survivors of human trafficking. Janet Ruggeri, known for curating philanthropic events across Palm Beach, summed up the spirit of the night: “Always wonderful to network with the lovely ladies in Palm Beach!”

Miami creatives Julia Clancey and Rebecca Setareh added artistic flair, while textile designer Ariana Koultourides of Crate & Barrel HQ highlighted the gallery’s wider appeal. The gathering attracted snowbirds and entrepreneurs from across North America, reinforcing the gallery’s reputation as both cultural hub and social hotspot.

As the sun set over Palm Beach Island, the message was clear: Women in Biz is more than a mixer. It’s a space where collaboration replaces competition and where community elevates everyone in the room.
