The South Florida community came together for an inspiring evening of generosity, hope, and celebration at the FedEx/St. Jude Angels and Stars Gala, presented by Genesis Prime Group, LLC. The event raised a record-breaking $1.7 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, marking the first time the gala has surpassed $1 million in its more than 20-year history.

The evening featured keynote speaker Dr. Victor Santana, a longtime St. Jude faculty member, who shared powerful insights into the hospital’s impact on pediatric cancer research. One of the night’s most emotional moments came when St. Jude patient Slater and his family shared their journey with neuroblastoma. Slater later joined the gala chairs on stage to help announce the historic fundraising total.
The gala was chaired by Marilé and Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq., and Dr. Eric and Regina Moskow, and co-hosted by Gloria Ordaz of Telemundo 51 and Jason Carter of Local 10 News. Guests enjoyed a star-studded red carpet, cocktail reception, seated dinner, live auction, entertainment, and music by celebrity DJ Africa.

With the support of sponsors, community leaders, and longtime St. Jude supporters, the gala celebrated a landmark evening that reflected South Florida’s continued commitment to helping children and families through the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
