Película “El Silencio del Río” gana premio en el Colombian International Film Festival de Nueva York.
La película del Colombiano Carlos Tribiño, co-producido por Colombia, Francia y Uruguay , gana como mejor largometraje de ficción en el Colombian International Film Festival y es una reflexión en torno a las víctimas silenciosas de la violencia Colombia. Cuenta la historia de Anselmo, un niño que tiene que descubrir la violencia y sus consecuencias a muy temprana edad.
“El silencio del río’, además ha obtenido el reconocimiento a la mejor película Colombiana en la competencia oficial de la edición número 55 del Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena 2015, así como también el premio Amnistía Internacional en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Praga, Febiofest.
Por otro lado, la cinta competirá, junto con catorce películas más, por los premios Tiantan (Templo del Cielo) en la quinta edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Pekín, que se celebrará del 16 al 23 de abril en China, el decimo séptimo Festival Internacional de Río de Janeiro, el Festival Suizo Filmar en la sección Premio del Jurado Joven de 2015 y en la sección Panorama del Festival Cinelatino, Rencontres de Toulouse 2016.
“El silencio del rio” es el primer largometraje de Carlos Tribiño y estará en salas de cine en el segundo semestre del 2016.”
THE FILM “THE SILENCE OF THE RIVER” WINS AWARD IN THE COLOMBIAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, NEW YORK.
The film by Colombian Carlos Tribiño, co-produced by Colombia, France and Uruguay, wins Best feature film in the Colombian International Film Festival and is a reflection on the silent victims of violence in Colombia. It tells the story of Anselmo, a child who has to discover violence and its consequences at an early age.
“The Silence of The River ‘, has also been recognized for best Colombian film in the official competition of the 55th edition of the 2015 International Film Festival in Cartagena, as well as the Amnesty International Award at the International Film Festival in Prague, Febiofest.
On the other hand, the film will compete, along with fourteen films, at the Tiantan awards (Temple of Heaven) in the fifth edition of the International Film Festival in Beijing, to be held from April 16th to the 23rd in China, the seventeenth International Festival of Rio de Janeiro, the 2015 Swiss Festival Filming in the Young Jury Award category and in the Panorama category of the Cinelatino Festival, Rencontres de Toulouse 2016.
“The Silence of The River” is the first feature film by Carlos Tribiño and will be in theaters in the second half of 2016. ”
